Questions and Answers about $MAN

Q. Which modules are available in the $MAN accounting system ?

A. $MAN is an integrated package -- you get the full range of accounting functions without having to buy separate modules. The $MAN system supports, among other functions, General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Inventory control (Finished Goods and Raw Goods with Bill of Material), Payroll, Job Costing, Estimating, Order Entry, Sales Analysis, Forms Management and Database List Management.

Q. Can $MAN’s design be modified ? Is source code provided ?

A. Since $MAN is both an accounting system and a database environment, it has an inherent flexibility of design that allows you to set up custom applications without having to alter the program itself in any way. Modifications are made in an interactive, parameter-driven fashion that does not require any difficult modifications to be made in the original program source code, as with other systems.

Q. Can I export accounting data for use in database functions ?

A. Data management and query functions can be fully integrated with accounting data in the $MAN system -- no import or export of data is required. However, $MAN also supports easy import and export of data with other database, spread sheet, and word processing programs.

Q. Can I use $MAN on a network?
